I came across the below quote and it hit home. It is pretty much what we as parents need to remember…involvement.  To be involved in a loving way in our children’s life.

I loved working again with this amazingly fun and loving family.  There is nothing quote like a baby photo session where dad throws out a Miley Cyrus, Party in the USA or the kid PBJ song.  Whatever it takes!  Thanks so much for allowing me to photograph G.  He is an amazing baby and big brother C. is as usual a JOY!!!  Love that little boy!

What a fun baby photo session!  Full of laughter and a few comments on how University of Michigan was going to stomp MSU….well…I was wrong.  SIGH!  I figured the least I could do was provide you both with a few sneak peeks of precious baby C.  He is an absolute precious gift.  All my best to the both of you!

I step behind my camera and all things going on in my life  seem to fade away.  At first I thought perhaps it was because I was lost in my art….now I realize it wasn’t that but I was lost in that moment.  The moment when I see a mom or a dad with such love in their eyes holding their newborn baby.  It takes me to such a wonderful place.  To relive the moments we have felt as new parents all over again.  The sleepless nights, the fears of not doing things correctly, the feeling of knowing that there is this tiny individual in your life now that depends on you 24/7, the joy of giving birth, the moments when you gaze at your baby sleeping….  Yes, I have said it before and I will say it again.  I have the best job in the world.  Not only do my clients allow me to capture such a beautiful time in their lives…they help me…slip away to a place of viewing life through a lens that is filled with love.  Thanks!
