Remembering  the days of  my prom brought a smile to my face.  I may be old (relatively speaking) but I remember my prom night like it was yesterday.  What a wonderful group of Saline high school seniors.  I wish you all the very best in life.  You all will do wonderful things!  CONGRATS TO YOU.

It always amazes me…the gift of life.  I meet so many beautiful pregnant women and so want to tell them..hold on to this time.  Remember it as you will only go through it a few times in your life ( or in my case 5 times) .  Don’t worry about your knees , your arms, the weight you have gained on your backside.  Focus on the true beauty within…the extraordinary event that is about to take place.  Embrace it all…..even the water retention, sleepless nights, stretch marks and roller coaster emotions.  One day you will look back on those days and on your maternity photographs and smile.

Congrats to you J.  What a joy it was to photograph you and meet you.  I am looking so forward to meeting your sweet baby soon.  Happy Mother’s Day!

A new baby is like the beginning of all things, hope, a dream of possibilities.

So many people think of their job as a ways to a mean.  I am able to go into the studio everyday knowing I am going to work with families that are experiencing some of the best times of their lives.  Times they will never forget….and I am allowed to capture that in photos.  Not only do I get to stand behind the camera and see the love….I get to hold these precious babies for a couple of hours.  My job ROCKS!!!!

I LOVE the first photo of father and son.  So many times I stand behind my camera and take the shot…knowing that I captured it but not sure what exactly I captured.  This was the photo for me.  It always amazes me how our children truly do resemble us.  How our love for our children comes through in a single photo.  I so enjoyed working with this family.  The love they have for one another and for C. is amazing.
